CILA - The Real Estate Confederation of Latin America is a Civil Association with Limited Capacity.

Among the objectives of CILA, are representing the interests of the Department of Real Estate Services of Member countries in Latin America including:

  • Helping with measures that favor their development, especially within the Economic and Social Forum, or equivalent agencies created or to be created....
  • To provide, accept and carry out mediation, conciliation and arbitration as an alternative means of resolving disputes between its members and the Department of Real Estate Services. Promote the execution of trade relations among member countries
  • Harmonize the content of the various existing standards on professional ethics in Latin American countries tending to the consecration of a single Community Code for Real Estate Ethics.
  • Promote harmonization of regulatory rules, norms, tax tariffs, customs and any other asymmetry affecting the real estate activity, either current or future.
  • Tend to the creation of a Community license that enables the exercise of the activity of real estate services in the context of Latin America and its recognition by the member entities. Avoid competition or unfair competition
  • Ensure respect for the rights of consumers in real estate transactions and care for associations’ interests of each member country.
